‘34 west magic’
Combine a night club and immersive theater — throw in the familiarity of an Irish pub — and you’ve got 34 West in downtown Charleston. The musicals are captivating, the stories innovative and hilarious. We’re rooting for each character as they encounter heartache and triumph. Like your favorite TV characters or rom-com heroines, they’re underdogs. By the end of the night you’re satiated with a compelling and truly inspired production. Our fans call it the “34 West Magic.”
THEATER
Imagine your favorite sitcom or Broadway musical produced by four actors who perform all the roles. Then place that show in a 70 seat storefront theater in historic downtown Charleston, where audiences sit around bistro tables with a glass of wine and you have our very inviting brand of live theater.
FILM
Original stories for TV + Film. Sure, turning a play into a short film is one thing but how do you create an entire series out of a 15 minute short? The super-short answer: It was there the whole time. LOVE POTION is the first of about 15 sellout, tried-and-tested stories from 34 West being adapted.
